From TeachingOpenSource

So this is me! I work at Red Hat on the University Outreach team, and I'm passionate about making it easier for instructors to incorporate open source into their classes.

I have a long history with and interest in education, having obtained my North Carolina teacher certification and taught both high school biology and environmental science. In addition, I’ve taught computer science classes (mostly “Introduction to the Web/HTML”) to students ranging from seventh graders to adult learners (and everything in between).

For fun, I sing backup with a bluegrass jam group (sometimes), do just about every craft imaginable (a lot of the time), and occasionally try unusual modes of conveyance (zeppelin, hot air balloon, biplane). No idea why I like that, but I do.

My blog (well, my whole website) is: "Realm of the Lintqueen"
