Articles in the TeachingOpenSource.org wiki are copyright by the users of the wiki and dual-licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 Canada License (CC-BY) or the Open Publication License (OPL). Any text contributions to the wiki must be original contributions where the author consents to licensing under these terms, or copied from sources licensed for distribution under compatible terms. Please note that some images on the site may be licensed under CC-BY-SA terms; these images may be reused only under the same license -- refer to the image's metadata for details.
Furthermore, direct contributors of original content to the wiki agree that the content may be licensed under additional licenses in the future, providing that:
- a notice of intent to license under an additional license is placed on the front page of this site (http://teachingopensource.org) and announced in the mailing list (tos@teachingopensource.org), and
- a vote is conducted via an internet-based mechanism 30 days after the notice is posted, and
- at least 75% of the people voting who were members of the mailing list at the time of the announcement of the intent to license under an additional license agree to license the wiki's material under the new license
Material licensed under other terms should be posted elsewhere and a link to that material created on this wiki.
