What do you think about adding a bit of a spoiler at the top for those with short attention spans? After the first two paragraphs, something such as this:

Hint: Teaching about working within an Open Source community is teaching the "Open" in Open Source, and is the intended meaning of the phrase "Teaching Open Source".

... or ...

Cut to the answer of what "Teaching Open Source" means ... if you can stand missing all the good parts before it.

Another approach is putting a summary at the top with similar information.
