This wiki is part of the TeachingOpenSource.org initiative. It is powered by MediaWiki, the same software that is used on many large wiki sites. If you are familiar with using Wikipedia, you should feel at home here. If you're not familiar with this software, see the resource links provided below.
 Joining the Wiki
If you're involved with or interested in teaching Open Source, please create an account and add information about yourself, your company or community, your Educational programs, your FOSS projects, and upcoming events.
After creating a wiki account, please update your User page (click your name at the top of any page in this wiki).
Before editing, we also require users to validate their email address. This helps to combat spam and vandalism of the wiki. Upon registering, please provide an email address which we can use to validate that you are a real person. After that, you will have full editing abilities!

 Interwiki Links
Interwiki links enable you to easily link from one wiki to another, and to transclude content from one wiki into pages on another wiki.

This wiki is configured with the standard MediaWiki Interwiki table, which includes entries for popular wiki sources such as Wikipedia. This has been extended with these sites:
