Colloquium on Teaching Open Source for Educators

The Institute of Applied Open Source at Johns Hopkins University in combination with the OSPO++ Network.is presenting an online Community Colloquium on Teaching Open Source for Educators Fri, 16 April 2021, 10:00 – 15:30 EDT. The focus of the event is on the who, what, where, why and how of teaching open source in universities. Topics include:

  • Software Methods

  • OSPO Management

  • Culture of Open Source

  • History of Open Source

  • Analysis of Open Source Projects & Health

  • Engineering for Scale with Open Source

  • Open Source Community Practices

The format consists of six different groups presenting open source programs with a 20 minute presentation and 20 minutes for peer discussion.
